An excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced, rapidly expanding company. The in-house development team is responsible for delivering high quality software solutions against strict scheduled deadlines using the latest suite of technologies.
The Development Team split their time between working on existing and new software products. 80% of their time is dedicated to greenfield projects, offering opportunities for developers to learn and improve their skills with great learning tools like Pluralsight and encouraging them to attend webinars and conferences related to Software Development.
You will be responsible for writing applications and services following best practices and SOLID principles. They will work with a team of developers following the day to day Scrum process being led by the Senior Developer.

Role Responsibilities
• Understand the importance of principles of good software design and development to produce software of the highest possible quality in the fastest possible time
• Follow the team’s Scrum process and coding conventions and standards
• To refer to the Senior Developer when any work falls outside their area of knowledge or expertise
• Staying up to date with new trends and advancements in web development
• Maintain and improve the performance of existing software
• Collaborate with the team in the design of new applications
• Recommend improvements to existing software programs as necessary

Required:
• Vast proven commercial experience
• A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management and best development practices
• Strong technical understanding of the following:
C# .NET
HTML
JavaScript
CSS
Web services (Restful and SOAP)
Software Design Patterns
Database management, design and performance (MSSQL)
Internet Information Services

Desirable:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
• In-depth understanding of Agile development methodologies
• Angular JS
• Angular2
• Angular4
• Continuous Integration tools
• Windows Server Configuration
• Typescript
• Angular cli
• Less CSS

Personal Qualities & Key Skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work within a team and independently and multi-task effectively
• Ability to work under pressure
• Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary
• Strong attention to detail

Hours: 40 hours per week -Monday to Friday
