Due to continued growth, TechniFire Solutions are now looking to recruit a Fire Extinguisher Engineer based in London and the home counties to service established key client accounts
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Carry out scheduled & reactive maintenance in a timely, efficient & cost-effective manner.
• Effectively communicate with our customers to ensure a good understanding of system/equipment status.
• Liaise & co-operate with service administrators to ensure the needs of our customers are met.
• Be responsible for the management & security of vehicle stock, tools & equipment.
• Operate within the requirements of company Quality Assurance & Health & Safety policies.
• Approach all training positively & complete all duties in a workman like manner.
• Be adaptable to changing circumstances & contribute feedback & ideas to help the business grow.
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
• Candidate should be experienced & qualified to a minimum level of FIA / FETA [Theory & Practice of Servicing Portable Fire Extinguishers] or equivalent level
• It may be beneficial for the candidate to have successfully completed all of the requirements of the BAFE ST104 scheme covering the Maintenance & Servicing of Portable Fire Extinguishers – Further Training to this standard will however be provided to the successful applicant over time.
• Good communication skills; verbal & written.
• Full UK driving license.
• Standard CRB Disclosure [within last 3 years]; can obtain on commencement.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES
All personnel employed within TechniFire Solutions Ltd are asked to recognise that, as a service industry company, it is sometimes necessary for the team members to undertake duties outside of those within their normal role. While this should be minimal, we expect all team members to put our Client needs first and to co-operate by extending their skills into other areas of need should such an occasion arise.
