Finance whizz wanted who doesn’t wear a suit

Internal Accountant (AAT / ACCA Qualified/Part Qualified)
Full-Time / Permanent but will look to be flexible

If you feel comfortable wearing a suit and tie or suit and high heels to work, you’re probably not going to like our company. If you like bamboozling clients with jargon they don’t understand, you’re not for us either.

We’re a small scaleup specialising in R&D Tax Relief. We’re fast moving, fresh and dynamic. If you don’t believe us visit our website. We only started 3 years ago and in that time we’ve grown to 20 members of staff and a £1.2 million profitable turnover. We have an Accounts Team but we’re looking to increase our internal capability with a finance whizz. That’s where you step in.

You’re a fully qualified Accountant. You know how to complete a CT600 and can submit one with your eyes closed. Preparing a tax computation is second nature and you’re good at it. We spend a lot of time speaking to HMRC and we like to think we are a trusted partner of theirs. We pride ourselves on building good relationships with inspectors and your future role in this will be key.

We’re also migrating to Xero next year and you’ll take charge of this project, so if you’re a Xero-phile that’s another plus.

Because we’re small but beautifully formed you’ll need to be flexible. You won’t tut when it’s your turn to make tea, and you won’t mind doing some data entry if it’s an “all hands to the deck” day.
