HR Business Partner

The Role
You will An operationally focused HR BP within a highly commercial section of the business, primarily focused on employment relations and supporting the roll out of Group HR strategy.
Responsibilities:
-Developing key business relationships and to fully understand key business drivers, and current and future challenges in order to align HR support to business issues
-To demonstrate a high level of professional HR expertise and initiative in addressing HR issues within the business.
-To ensure the successful implementation of Group HR initiatives within the business
-Initiate and manage HR projects discussed with the Group Head of HR and business Executives.
-Actively participate with management teams in the leadership and organisation of businesses.
-To coach and support managers to ensure the development of skills and knowledge in all areas of people management
-To provide HR contribution to projects, identifying situations which have a people impact and influencing the decisions made in these areas.
-Working in partnership with Business Executives, Group HR, Talent Acquisition and Talent Development colleagues to ensure consistent, proactive delivery of support, and that all HR activity is aligned with the overall business and Group objectives
-To provide generalist HR support and advice on matters such as grievance, discipline, recruitment, performance management, absence management and organisational design.
-Advise and coach managers in the chairing of formal employee hearings, attending where necessary
-To undertake project work as designated by the Group Head of HR.
-To professionally communicate issues of concern or high risk to the Group Head of HR / relevant Executive as applicable.

-Substantial generalist experience in HR, including experience of working as a business partner.
