Infrastructure Engineer

Our customer a leading technology solutions provider who deliver business value from technology is seeking to recruit an Infrastructure Engineer to deliver Data Centre and cloud-based implementation and configuration across various platforms. They also deliver a small range of innovative products from vendors. A major growth area is in cloud solutions across multiple platforms. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a rapidly expanding solutions and services company. You will need to have a background in data centre and cloud-based solutions including Azure. Part of your duties will be to perform server builds and configuration preferably with HP and Dell. Degree education would be desirable.


Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Working with solution architects in support of solution development and design
Provide input into detailed design and configuration documentation
Install and configure technology solutions across on premises data centres and public cloud services
Produce detailed build documentation
Support service handover and knowledge transfer
Support for the service desk in a 2nd line capacity.
You must be able to build and configure servers preferably HPE and or Dell. You will have experience of working with Windows 2013/16 server, Microsoft HyperV and VMware vSphere along with Microsoft SQL 2012/14/16
Experience of Microsoft Azure and SCCM would be a distinct advantage.
Degree education would be desirable.
