Deputy Care Home Manager Required for Elderly Nursing Home in and around St Leonards-On-Sea

Your new role
Your previous leadership experience working in a nursing care setting will mean that you are confident in supporting the registered manager as well as working along side the nurses and care staff and helping to organise the day to day running of the home. Your excellent organisation and communication skills will mean that you are able to allocate duties to your team members to ensure the delivery of care plans and upkeep of standards in line with CQC requirements. You will feel comfortable working with adults and supporting the elderly suffering with mental health, dementia as well as disabilities. You will provide support to individuals and their families who need help, both emotionally and practically, so they can live a happy, comfortable and independent lives.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to able to cope under pressure and have a sunny disposition in addition to having a caring, patient and helpful nature. You will need to have recent experience in a social care team leading role and relevant qualifications for the role e.g. minimum NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care and NVQ in management, preferred but not essential as long as willing to work towards. You'll also be flexible with working hours and happy to work a variety of shifts.
