Established thriving busy Garage requires an experienced Bookkeeper/Administrator based at our main Garage just outside Maidstone.
You will be responsible for the following duties:
• Bookkeeping
• Purchase ledger
• Sales ledger
• Payroll
• VAT returns
• Credit control
Applicants must be fully accomplished Bookkeepers who MUST clearly demonstrate a successful experience of working with SAGE Line 50 along with SAGE Payroll. Part of your duties will include answering the telephone, dealing with daily post, along with correspondence to daily emails and letters.
Due to the nature of the business it is essential to work on your own, under your own initiative, with minimum supervision, prioritising daily and weekly tasks, be calm under pressure and have a cheerful personality. Own transport is necessary due to the location of the business.
This is a part time position hours can be flexible but ideally should cover a minimum of 22 hours per week. The successful applicant will receive a competitive salary to be discussed at interview.
Previous experience in the Motor trade industry is essential.
