Trainee Process and Planning Engineer
HV Wooding ltd is an Engineering company based in Hythe, Kent. Due to an ever increasing volume of new work coming into the business, we have a vacancy for a Trainee Process and Planning Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity and a newly created role within the company. The main duties will include:
• Planning new parts as they come into the company
• Creating models and geometry files for CNC Programming using Solidworks
• Assisting with CNC Programming as required.
A very detailed and methodical approach to work is required for this position as is a high degree of accuracy. The ability to read engineering drawings is essential as are excellent Maths skills.
Full training however will be given on all aspects of this role as required. Once the successful applicant has gained a good degree of knowledge in the programming of the above, the role may well develop into other areas of assisting the Technical Team.
The hours required for this position will be Monday the Thursday 8am to 5:30pm and Fridays 8am to 2pm.
