Technical Editor / Electronics Engineer

Our client offers an amazing opportunity for someone who is either looking to start or progress their career in publishing to be the Technical Editor of a European Industry-leading Publisher.
We are looking for an Electronics Engineer to work across a network of websites and digital publications for the electronic components market.
Duties will include:
Writing, editing and commissioning high-quality editorial content across magazines and websites
Proof-reading and sub-editing content
Producing original content which is well-written and of interest to the readership
Attending client meetings, trade shows and networking events on behalf of the company
Overseeing social media activity and ensuring all content is kept to house style
Creating original technical/educational material
A successful candidate must:
Have a background in electronics engineering/design with practical experience in the industry
Have an interest in creative writing - experience preferable but not essential
Have excellent computer literacy
Have a proactive and flexible working attitude
Be able to work well as part of a team and have the initiative to work well and efficiently alone
Be able to work to tight deadlines
