CATEGORY C1 7.5T DRIVERS NEEDED!

The Best Connection is one of the UK’s leading providers of flexible workforce solutions to the logistics and distribution sector. Working in partnership with our client, Dunelm, a leader in online retail, we are looking to recruit 10 Professional Category C1 7.5t Drivers.

Job Outline:
We are looking for responsible, customer focused Category C1 7.5t Drivers to join our clients’ in-house distribution network to deliver their vast range of Home & Garden products to their customers. Being on the front line of the business you will be responsible for ensuring that their customers receive their goods in a timely and friendly manner. This role is on an 18-week temporary to permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and progressive organisation working at their flagship Southern Distribution Centre in Dartford.

Responsibilities:

· As part of a 2-person team, you will deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses.
· The site currently runs a Monday to Saturday operation. This means you will be on a Monday – Friday / Tuesday to Saturday shift pattern.
· Follow route and time schedule in an efficient and safe manner.
· Load, unload, prepare, inspect and assist in the deliveries.

Required Skills & Experience:

· Experience of working as a 7.5t Driver, with a large emphasis on Customer Service Excellence.
· A strong Customer Service ethic who approaches their role with energy and enthusiasm.
· Physically able to handle large items for delivery.
