A very successful and busy logistics business is seeking an experienced Transport Planner to work on a permanent NIGHT SHIFT. This will be lone working with support from other regional offices
You will successfully coordinate schedules, plan routes, arrange customer deliveries and organise the workforce to meet transport requirements.
HOURS:
* Sunday shift is a long shift 17:00 - 05:30
* Monday -18-19:00- 06:00
* Tuesday - 19:00 - 06:00
* Wednesday 19:00 - 06:00
* Thursday 19:00-20:00 - 06:00
The successful candidate must consistently deliver high quality administration skills, excellent customer service and have good experience/knowledge of the transport industry.
* Ideally have experience of own account operations
* Great organisational skills
* Ability to react to changes to the schedules
* Excellent attention to detail
* Good working knowledge of working time directive and EU Drivers hours regulations
* Ability to communicate effectively with customers and key colleagues
* Planning and problem solving skills
* Able to work under pressure
* Experience in using a transport management systems
* Able to use effectively Microsoft Windows package (Word, Excel and Outlook)
