In House Motor Engineer
Location: Sevenoaks
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum + lifestyle benefits package
Are you an experienced Motor Engineer/Estimator with a VDA/ ATA accreditation?
Do you have knowledge of computerised estimation eystems e.g. Audatex and Glassmatix?
We are recruiting for a desktop Motor Image Engineer/ Estimator to work exclusively on motor insurance claims within a fast growing and successful insurance company based in Sevenoaks.
You will be an important member of a proactive motor insurance team in managing a number of allocated claims. This role comes with a competitive salary + excellent company benefits.
Purpose of the role:
To contribute to the prompt and economical settlement of motor claims by efficiently inspecting vehicles, and auditing estimates.
This is achieved by providing accurate assessments of repair cost by authorising repairs and supervising the prompt payment of accounts within established guidelines and procedures.
Role responsibilities
-Manage an allocated number of inspections, valuations and other items of work.
-Quality and timeliness of inspections, valuations, audits and invoice reviews.
-Meet leakage targets and obtain high quality value for money repairs that do not adversely affect the safety of the vehicle.
-Develop and maintain effective relationships with repairers and intermediaries thus ensuring highest levels of customer satisfaction at the lowest fair repair cost.
-Maintain up to date and accurate records and provide regular returns in established forms.

Knowledge required:

-Thorough knowledge of the details of the methods of motor vehicle accident repair.
-Experience of estimating and negotiation.
-Thorough knowledge of practices relating to the handling of motor claims.
-Detailed knowledge of the method of repair of motor vehicles.

Skills/ Accreditations
-Motor Insurance experience
-ATA VDA Accreditation
