Contracts Manager - Small Works

Our client operate in all areas of the construction sector and FM industries with a key focus on electrical and mechanical installations, building and fit out works, design & build projects, refurbishment projects, design and reactive services. They have tasked Randstad with finding a Small Works Contracts Manager to join their team.

Based in Maidstone, my client specialise in small works projects, valued between £10,000 - £200,000. They are a well respected and trusted contractor who are valued members of a number of Council, MOD, MOJ and Social Housing Frameworks.

You will be responsible for ensuring that live projects are running to programme, budget, and to the satisfaction of the client. This Contractors coverage is Kent, Essex, Sussex, with the occasional job in Surrey or London. Project types include; Residential, Prisons, Care, Education, Heritage, Refurbishment and Regeneration. This really is an excellent opportunity to be involved with a diverse and interesting portfolio of works.

Purchasing Materials
Labour Management
Material Management
Estimating and Valuations
Progress Reports to Directors
Sub Contractor Management
Client Engagement
Business Development

Requirements:
SMSTS
CSCS
First Aid
HNC or HND in relevant construction discipline (desirable)
