OneSavings Bank plc (OSB) the specialist lending and retail savings group began trading as a bank on 1 February 2011 and was admitted to the main market of the London Stock Exchange in June 2014 (OSB.L). OSB joined the FTSE 250 index in June 2015.

The Group, which is headquartered in Chatham, Kent OSB is authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority, part of the Bank of England, and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and Prudential Regulation Authority.

The primary focus of the role is to support the Bank’s infrastructure by performing a technical role responsible for the care and maintenance of the bank’s IT systems, enabling the organisation to offer an excellent service to its customers across the group.

As the Infrastructure SQL Database Engineer, you would be…
• Ensure all database servers are backed up to meet the business’ Recovery Point Objectives
• Troubleshoot SQL server service outages as they occur, including after hours and weekends
• Install and configure new SQL servers
• Writing technical designs and documents to include documenting the company’s database environment
• Mentoring other engineers as needed
