Junior Web Developer

Opportunity summary:

This is an opportunity for a web developer to join a fast-growing ecommerce business to learn data-driven ecommerce UX optimisation by working with a senior .net developer and google-partner level digital team. Aside from the main direct opportunities within the agency customer base and in creating further ecommerce brands provides a broad spectrum of challenges and plenty of scope for self-development and growth.
An ideal candidate will be driven, empathetic, team-oriented, and excited to grow quickly through hard work and learning. Skills required centre around digital design and front end user experience with database skills less important due to .net and SQL support available.

Desired Skills & Experience:

Web Development:

CSS3 & HTML5 essential
Jquery, javascript & experience with bootstrap frameworks desired
Website UX and ecommerce experience desirable
Design:

Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign skill desirable.
Further technologies:

Google Analytics knowledge is essential but happy to provide training and support here
Hotjar or UX tracking software experience desirable
Dotmailer email automation experience desirable but access to training with this market-leading email platform available as part of the role
Email html design and creation desirable
Role Summary:

The vast majority of the work will be revenue-focused conversion rate optimisation

Work is organised into monthly sprints and an agile project management style is used to coordinate all team members.
