Quality Controller Dartford Depot

Sparshatts of Kent Ltd are a Mercedes-Benz Commercial franchise. We currently have a vacancy for a Commercial Vehicle Quality Controller as follows:

Day Shift
8am – 5pm Monday to Friday
8am to 12pm Saturday (paid at overtime rate)
(hours dependent on vehicle delivery schedules)

Liaising with the Workshop Truck Team you will be responsible for carrying out quality control checks, maintenance, repairs and testing of vehicles in a professional and safe manner. You will also need to present the vehicle to VOSA and ATF sites for MOT inspections and process the necessary paperwork.

You need to be a team player but must also be able to work with minimum supervision and have the ability to use your own initiative.

Essential Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 driving license and a good driving record
• Mechanical knowledge with an understanding of ministry regulations
• Have an understanding of various Truck Body functions.
• Must be studious when checking vehicles over
• Good admin and IT Skills
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Punctuality, flexibility and reliability are key to this role
