Practice of chartered accountants with an excellent reputation for providing a quality service to its client base of mainly owner managed businesses. Ideally an ACCA qualified, finalist, or a qualified by experience candidate who has had an established career in accountancy practice. Preferably, you should have worked in a small, or medium sized firm where you are actively involved with clients and have gained broad experience.

This is mainly an accounts role, but there will also be the opportunity to spend about 20% of your work time on client audits. Specifically, the role will involve annual accounts and corporation tax preparation (to completion), VAT returns, company secretarial matters, and some audit.

Essential:
o Work experience within chartered accountancy
o Knowledge of Sage software
o VAT experience
o Corporation Tax/ HMRC filing

o Management accounts and bookkeeping

In addition to your technical ability, it is very important that you have good commercial awareness and are able to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues and the usual outside agencies.
