Our client is looking to expand their team and is looking for a Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join their existing dynamic international team based in Kent; that has 100 years of combined expertise.
The ideal candidate will have an interest in the construction industry or have maybe a year's experience. We will offer the experience and the entry to taking your RICS Certification with the University College of Estate Management. Although a trainee you will be given a full salary and support for your distance learning accreditation.
Once qualified as a quantity surveyor, you will be required to complete elemental estimates, trade bill of quantities, cost reporting, tender reviews, progress assessments etc under guidance from senior staff members. You may also need to engage with clients at a director level.
The position is permanent full time, and salary will be negotiated depending on experience. The hours of work are 8.30am to 5pm, there is an option for flexible working hours and paid overtime.
