CAKE BAKER - daytime hours – £18,000 -
This independent café has big plans for the future and due to expansion are currently looking for an experienced Pastry Chef and Baker.
They prepare a delicious range of homemade sandwiches, pies, bread, cakes and cookies. Everything is made from scratch in the onsite kitchen and only the finest produce will be used to create mouth-watering delicacies. Currently they are also designing and launching a new range of celebration cakes, which the successful candidate will be involved in.
There is a small team in the kitchen and you will have the opportunity to train under a very experienced Pastry Chef. Although excellent training is available they are looking for some-one who has knowledge gained from working within the pastry section of a professional kitchen. Your role will include the making of desserts and baking of cakes, tray bakes, cookies and pastries. Some previous experience in areas of the kitchen would be advantageous, although not essential.
