My Client is a market leader in their field, with a comprehensive range of products, a global company with solutions to suit all. They are currently looking to recruit an Applications Engineer, to trouble shoot issues using all forms of communication, including regular visits to customer sites and support the product development team in the development of new products, ensuring that they are suitable for all applications.
The Role: Applications Engineer
Provide technical support and expertise to customers and colleagues.
Regular visits to customer sites
Support the product development team in the development of new products
Prepare application documentation including CAD technical drawings
Specification and installation instructions
Skills / Qualifications / Experience: Applications Engineer
Ideally Degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering
OR -
NVQ level 3 qualification with an emphasis on electrical/electronics.
Minimum of 3 years' experience with automotive electrics and/or electronics
An understanding of analogue and digital electronics.
High level of knowledge of DC circuits
A thorough understanding of application development
