Barker Munro has received a brand new instruction to source an experienced commercial account handler to join one of the most successful Global Insurance brokers within a senior role.

Responsible for providing a quality service in support of the account in order to obtain optimum account retention and growth, via the account management, broking and technical support. The ideal candidate will be experienced within the insurance broking sector, knowledgeable about the local market and want to put clients at the heart of their actions.

The role will also involve preparing documentation for new customers in relation to their insurance requirements, obtaining renewal terms for customers and identify potential alternative quotations before producing presentations for account managers to discuss with customers and preparing documentation for existing customers in relation to renewals and mid-term adjustments in partnership with Account Executives.

We are seeking applications from candidates with previous Commercial broking experience and are seeking a progressive step in their insurance career. Candidates should be able to demonstrate a good customer service focus, to identify potential risks and seek advice when required and strong communication and interpersonal skills. Progress with the CII qualification will be advantageous.
