Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Locations: Tonbridge and Hadlow

We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to provide support and guidance to managers through a range of people management processes; this will require an excellent knowledge of up to date employment legislation along with outstanding interpersonal skills. The role will also include interviewing and supporting the recruitment function in accordance with safer recruitment practices. Prior knowledge of the principles of safer recruitment would be advantageous but is not essential as training will be provided.

The successful candidate will need experience of working in a busy HR team within a similar position. To perform this role successfully you must be a team player, have excellent organisational skills along with the ability to multi-task and guide managers through employee relations casework.

Candidates applying must hold a level 5 CIPD qualification (or equivalent) or be willing to study, for which the College would be prepared to provide financial assistance towards the cost of the course. In addition, a minimum level 2 qualification (or equivalent) in both literacy and numeracy is required along with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

As well as a contributory pension scheme, a health cash plan and free car parking, this post also attracts 5 weeks holiday each year (excluding Bank Holidays).

You will be required to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check and to provide proof of your right to work in the UK.
