Neighbourhoods Advisor – 2 vacancies - Full-time and Part Time / Job Share available

We are looking for an ambitious and innovative individual to join our dynamic Neighbourhoods Team. Have you got what it takes to excel in the role of Neighbourhoods Advisor and make a difference? As an organisation, Golding Homes is an established Registered Provider based in Maidstone (approximately 40 miles from London) who delivers high quality affordable homes and services across Kent

We currently have a full time (37 hour week) and a part-time (18.5 hour week) positions available. The full-time equivalent annual salary being offered is £24,089 to £29,442 dependent on the candidate’s knowledge, skills and experiences. This will be pro-rata for the part - time position

The part-time position is a job share arrangement working alongside a colleague to cover a patch and therefore the hours will be 18.75 hours per week, working 8.30 to 17.00, Monday and Tuesday and 8.30 to 12.15 on Wednesday..

We provide a rewarding staff package which includes: 28 days holiday (pro-rata), plus bank holidays, a competitive contributory pension and Benenden healthcare membership. All staff are also offered a personal development and wellbeing grant, alongside a tailored training plan for those individuals who wish to progress their career further.

This is a generic housing management post that will provide the successful candidate with a variety of housing management experiences.
Candidates will ideally have:
• Worked in a customer facing environment
• Dealt with all aspects of the rent recovery process including serving notices, preparing paperwork for court and attending court on behalf of the organisation
• Hold excellent knowledge of issues relating to welfare reform – especially Universal Credit
• Dealt with tenancy management and anti-social behaviour cases, including taking legal enforcement action
• A good working knowledge of various computer systems
• Excellent customer service skills
• Recent experience working in a similar housing management role, ideally in a Housing Officer or Neighbourhood Officer capacity
• A full driving license and access to a car
• Due to the nature of this role there will be a requirement to obtain a basic criminal record disclosure certificate
