We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced marketer to join our team in Sandwich. If you’re creative, love to write, have experience of building email campaigns and are comfortable working with basic CSS and HTML, we’d love to hear from you.

Key responsibilities

- Promoting our villas to customers and travel agents online and offline. You will be planning and building marketing emails that are sent to existing and future clients.
- Tracking, A/B testing and analysing engagement to build on success. Taking a proactive approach to growing our email list.
- Marketing to new agents and keeping signed-up travel agents in the loop about great offers.
- Conceptualising, implementing and reporting on new long-term marketing campaigns. Working with our social media manager and marketing manager to reach new customers in key areas, through a mixture of organic and carefully targeted paid campaigns.
- Using a data-driven approach to identify new opportunities for growth, and working with our content team to turn these ideas into timely, engaging and search-optimised content that resonates with our core audience. You will be making regular contributions to the Top Villas blog.

Essential

- At least one year of email marketing experience
- Good working knowledge of Mailchimp (or similar) and image-editing software
- Flawless written English and the ability to switch between British and American English at the drop of a hat. Must be able to follow the Top Villas style guide and help other content producers to follow set guidelines.
- A track record of driving targeted traffic (and conversions) through quality content.

Desirable

- Sound knowledge of all things SEO.
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Solid understanding of the luxury travel market from a B2B and B2C perspective. Good geographical knowledge and a sound understanding of subtle cultural differences.
- Experience using Google Analytics, with the ability to act on your findings.
- Comfortable using a CMS.
- The ability to work alone and as part of a busy team with weekly deadlines and ambitious long-term goals.
