Working for an established Commercial Insurance Broker you will need to accurately confirm and collate information provided by insurers and customers in order to confirm renewal of Motor Trade Policies. You are expected to be part of the team and as such your role may occasionally alter to help others complete their duties.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Question existing customers effectively to ensure renewal premium is based on correct information.
• Identify further selling opportunities and be able to close renewals effectively.
• Ensure that Customer is scripted correctly.
• Assist the team in completing objectives to include the monthly renewal targets
• Explain the features and benefits of policies to customers.
• To demonstrate a positive, enthusiastic, committed and flexible attitude towards customers and other team members, recognising the
importance and benefits of effective team work.
• Deliver customer service in line with ‘best practice’ and ensure compliance in treating customers fairly.
• To comply with the Data Protection Act
• To actively follow company policies (including Health & Safety).
• To carry out any other duties within the scope of the job as requested by your Manager
• To maintain accurate records on customer files.
• Attend team and staff meetings as and when necessary.
Essential Skills:
• Insurance experience preferred
• Display patience and politeness to customers.
• Ability to communicate with both customers and colleagues at all levels of seniority.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with Insurers.
• Good team working skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Proven desire to update product knowledge and skill set when necessary.
• Awareness of the Data Protection Act and Money Laundering.
• Good oral communication skills and organisation skills.
• Confidence to seek guidance from your team when appropriate.
• Maintain a professional attitude.
Qualifications:
Good standard of Education GCSE
Hours of Work:
Monday – Friday 9am – 5.30pm with one late shift per week 10.30am – 7pm
Every other Saturday 9am-1pm
Salary DOE + Bonus and Pension Scheme
