2nd Line IT Helpdesk Support Technician
• Based in West Malling, 4 minutes from M20 Junction 4
• Annual package of £25,000 - £35,000 commensurate with experience.

Established for 25-years Network Computing Limited continues to grow in the Managed Services and Security market providing comprehensive support to business clients predominantly in the London and West Kent areas.
Our modern Helpdesk operates ConnectWise Manage and Automate (Labtech), linked through our Data Centre facility in Maidstone, and planned expansion mean we are looking for further experienced and motivated 2nd Line IT Support Technicians to provide direct services to our Clients.
We expect a minimum of 2-years previous engagement working within an MSP (though we would consider experience within a formal corporate IT Department background) focused on networks with a minimum of 25 endpoints.
This is a challenging and dynamic environment in a busy office where no two days are ever quite the same; this requires an ability to self-manage and prioritise - all the time retaining a calm, assuring and helpful telephone manner.
The role requires efficient co-ordination between the Helpdesk, Field Technicians and Account Managers to ensure we maintain our quality and service delivery levels.
For many years Network Computing Limited has been recognised as a 'Trustmark' partner by the trade-industry association CompTIA, as well as our Quality System being certified to ISO-9001. More recently our Information Systems Management System has been certified to ISO-27001 and we are similarly certified to Cyber Essentials.
Your experience and knowledge should encompass:-
o Helpdesk operation including call logging and reporting
o Server/Endpoint dashboard monitoring, event-analysis and remediation
o Data networking (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Infrastructure, VLAN)
o Security (Firewall, 2FA, Anti-Malware, Pentest)
o Server administration and management (Windows Server, Virtualisation Hyper-V/VMware)
o Remote connectivity (VPN, RDP)
o Desktop, printing and mainstream applications support
o Mobile device management and administration
o User management and administration
o Voice systems (VoIP, Cellular, ISDN PBX)
o Messaging Systems – On Premise and Hosted (Exchange/O365)
o Managed Print Systems (Follow Me, Scanned Document Archive)
o Cloud Hosting (AWS, Azure)
