We are seeking an Attraction and Event Coordinator to join our dynamic Business to Business Support Team. This position is a great opportunity for an experienced administrator with a track record of effective workload management and communication.
You will be responsible for the overseeing of all bookings made and ensure deadlines are met and fulfilled. Also, you will be the main contact to our attractions, event handlers and ticket suppliers, strengthening the relationships between the suppliers and Albatross Travel.
Working as part of a large team, you’ll need to demonstrate the ability to contribute to a team environment as well as using your own initiative to manage your own workload.
You must be incredibly adaptable to meet our client and supplier needs as well as have the ability to accept change in a fast paced environment.
Competencies for success - candidates MUST have:
• Ability to work well on own initiative and within the team
• Strong organisation skills, an ability to prioritise your workload and pay attention to detail
• Effective communication skills (internal and external) and strong use of English grammar (written and spoken)
• Friendly and professional telephone manner
• Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
• Sensitivity to client needs (internal and external)
• Commercial awareness and the confidence to negotiate
• A desire to exceed expectations in customer service
• A willingness to learn and a desire to succeed
Some of your responsibilities will include being the first point of contact for the B2B sales and operations teams for any product knowledge regarding any shows, events and attractions in the assigned area. And ensuring any new events, shows and attraction information is shared promptly with the Albatross Travel & Europa sales teams via Yammer and is then entered onto the company’s booking system.
We offer a relaxed and fun working environment, a casual dress code, onsite parking and an attractive benefits package including enhanced annual leave, pension, flexible working and a number of travel industry perks, as well as the opportunity for further training and development within this growing team.
This is a full time fixed term contract of up to 12 months, office based, working Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm in Larkfield.
