Commercial Combined Underwriter, Kent

Barker Munro is currently offering an excellent opportunity to work with one of the region's best known insurance companies who are currently recruiting for a Commercial Combined Underwriter to join their team.

You will underwrite commercial combined business and proactively develop and maintain business relationships with intermediaries to actively encourage generation of commercial business by way of providing MTA’s and renewals. My client will be looking for you to maximise income from the broker market and support and contribute to target GWP and loss ratio objectives in the SME commercial sector.

To be considered for the Commercial Combined underwriter you will most importantly be a commercial insurance trader and have experience in underwriting and trading commercial combined products. Proven experience in underwriting commercial combined insurance is essential. You will be personable and be able to focus on client new business either over the phone or directly face to face and be seen as "the face" of the business. With knowledge of commercial combined, you will show good awareness of the commercial insurance market.

The role offers excellent progression and prospects and the opportunity to develop your commercial underwriting capabilities with the business and with the support and development from the company not only in technical development but also with professional qualifications.

Awareness and knowledge of commercial product launches would also be useful.
