We are currently working with a leading provider of construction, new build and planned maintenance services across the UK.

Due to ongoing growth, they are currently seeking an Apprentice and Careers Manager to deliver an Apprentice Programme for the business that will maximise Levy opportunities and provide a sustainable talent pipeline.

Main Accountabilities
Build an Apprentice Programme that maximises the use of the Apprentice Levy
Establish a pipeline of emerging talent
Manage External provider relationships
Manage the compliance and legal elements of the Apprentice Levy
Design and execute the apprenticeship on-boarding programme

Specific Tasks
Design and deliver assessment centres for the recruitment of apprentices and trainees.
Design the structure and deliver formatted plans for the apprentice pathways
Act as the main account holder for the Digital Account monitoring and reporting financial data
Strategic management of Registered Training Provider relationships
Implement and monitor a mentoring programme to support the Apprentice Programme.
Create and own the stakeholder communication strategy and plan to ensure all those involved in the successful delivery of the Apprenticeship programme are fully informed and supportive of the programme's main aims and objectives.
Provide line management support to the individual apprenticeship programme managers
Educate managers and mentors on their role in supporting and developing apprentices as an essential part of their jobs
Build effective relationships with all stakeholders both internal and external to aid the programme's on-going development, presence and credibility
Compile routine progress reports and report on key metrics and data that evidence ROI
Ensure up to date knowledge of current specifications for apprentice standards is maintained
Ensure the apprenticeship programme is delivered with success and is audit compliant
Regularly review the performance of our indirect apprentice partners under our Social value banner in conjunction with business representatives.

Person Spec
Previous demonstrable experience in delivering apprenticeship programmes from a strategic and tactical level
Ability to manage relationships with key stakeholders
Experience of recruitment practice and policies
Experience of working with Graduates and managing expectations
Management of Budgets
Strong influencing skills
Clean driving licence

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate previous experience in delivering apprenticeship programmes from a strategic and tactical level. Have the ability to manage relationships with key stakeholders with experience of recruitment practices and policies. Have experience of working with Graduates and managing their expectations. You must have also had knowledge of budget management with strong influencing skills.
