Salary: £17,000 - £18,500 + Benefits
Hours: Mon to Fri 9am - 5pm

My client is a leading and expanding motor insurance group who are renowned for their staff reward and recognition, and are in The Times Top 30 Big Companies to work for. They are currently recruiting for a Counter Fraud Support handler to join their busy team.

Job Description

As part of the Counter Fraud Support Team you will act as a reference point for the rest of Claims for claims that are suspected to be fraudulent. Your duties will include but not be limited to:

- Screening suspect motor claims (including bodily injury) against known fraud indicators and other risk factors, identifying cases where investigation is required.
- Utilising specialist data mining/fraud management software; working the daily alerts and assisting with the upkeep and development of the rules.
- Utilising a variety of desktop tools (CUE, MIAFTR etc) as well as various internet checks and databases to assist with claimant profiling and to determine the direction of the investigation.
- Assisting with the production of fraud statistics, Management Information and root cause analysis.

The Successful Applicant

The successful applicant will preferably have previous experience in Motor Claims, an interest in Fraud and will meet the following criteria:

- Good knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Access preferred
- Good commercial awareness
- Knowledge of regulatory framework relating to Claims
- Claims and or fraud experience is key
