This international group that operates in 21 countries and has 28 offices worldwide continues to see year on year growth. As a result they are seeking a Quality Engineer to join their dynamic team based in Kent.

Summary:

Responsible for ensuring products, services, and quality system processes are of the highest standard and that Quality Management System (QMS) training processes are conducted and documented. Duties include materials Review Board and NCR/CAPA Documentation, Calibration management, Leading the Internal Audit Process, Standardisation, continuous improvement and productivity, QMS Training and Supplier Management

Duties & Responsibilities:

Materials Review Board and NCR/CAPA Documentation

Calibration management

Lead the Internal Audit Process.

Standardisation, continuous improvement and productivity

QMS Training

Materials Management Support (QC Inspection support)

Supplier Management.

QMS performance reporting

Other Duties:

* Actively supports the Company's Quality Objectives and contributes to Quality Management System activities as assigned.
* Performs other duties and work on special projects as required or assigned by the Quality Manager

* QUALIFICATION GUIDELINES
* Bachelor's degree -Engineer or other relevant field (Mechanical, Materials or Packaging Preferred)
* 2+ years' experience in a Quality Engineering role in an ISO 9001 certified organisation. (Knowledge of the Aerospace/Defence industries would be advantageous.)
* Excellent analytical, organisational and negotiation skills.
* Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously within set timeframes.
* Must be familiar with engineering and manufacturing documentation (technical drawings, material specifications etc.) and Bills of Material (BOMs).
* Knowledge of working with an established ERP system is required, with SAP an advantage.
* Must be able to interact effectively and diplomatically with all company personnel under minimum supervision and be responsive to the requirements of department members and other departments with whom interaction is necessary.
* Must be able to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% to visit customers, suppliers, subcontractors or other sites as and when necessary.
* Must be flexible regarding working hours.
* Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, Visio, and other typical business applications.
* Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
* Certification in Quality Engineering, Quality Management, 6-sigma, lean, or related areas is highly desirable.
