My client, arguably one of the most exciting financial services businesses in North Kent, is looking to recruit a Senior Management Accountant during this period of growth and expansion.

An international business with offices around the world, they are leaders in their field and have a fantastic reputation for developing and hiring talented individuals.  With further growth, a role has become available that would suit a candidate looking to make a First Move From Practice and secure a role within North Kent, potentially cutting commute times.

Working closely with key internal stakeholders, you will provide them with dedicated support on all commercial drivers at agency, department and client level. 

- Leading the preparation of timely and accurate management account packs
- Working in partnership with team heads to meet monthly commercial performance targets.
- Leading monthly commercial meetings presenting to both the clients leads and MD.
- Production of the Monthly Management Accounts for final sign off by the Managing Director.
- Annual statutory accounts (for CH and HMRC) and Tax computation
- Balance sheet and bank reconciliations
- Detailed product profit reports highlighting and correcting any irregularities. 
- Analyse financial data to support management decision making.
- Annual budget forecasts.
- Monthly VAT returns, Intrastat
- Liaise with the Company`s Auditors and manage the year-end Audit process.
- Ensure month end procedures are completed within agreed timescales.
- Ensure statutory returns are completed as required.
- Provide support to the Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger
- Organise the finance team operations and procedures.
- Develop and monitor the team`s objectives and performance.
- Assist and be a mentor to the other members of the finance team.
- Liaise with other departments of the business to improve efficiencies and develop reporting requirements.
- Other ad hoc analysis as required by the FC

With a strong commercial aptitude, this role would suit someone looking to make their first move from practice into industry.  Having both strong analytically skills and an excellent attention to detail will be key in this role.
