HEAD CHEF – package £35-42,000 – creative, innovative chef-
This lively award-winning gastro pub is currently seeking a creative and innovative Head Chef to take over the running of this busy, fast paced kitchen.
This is an independent business, which is very much a destination venue with a superb food trade. You should therefore have a real interest in current food trends and working with fresh, seasonal and locally sourced produce. There is a brigade of 5 chefs preparing modern British cuisine with European influences.
As Head Chef you will have full responsibility for the day to day running of the kitchen designing menus, sourcing suppliers, stock control, ordering and training and motivating your team. Alongside this the ideal candidate will have good business acumen and excellent man- management skills.
Benefits include a generous salary, bonus and superb tips, a free reign with the menus, a well equipped kitchen and stable brigade of professional chefs.
This is a live out position and due to the pubs rural location, you would require your own transport, although you are only a few miles from a large town, with excellent amenities.
