The role is full time and permanent and offering an excellent salary package .This is an exciting and unique opportunity.
Purpose
To deliver an Apprentice Programme for United Living that maximises Levy opportunities and provides a sustainable talent pipeline aligned to business need.
Key Results and Accountabilities
* Build an Apprentice Programme for United Living that maximises use of the Apprentice Levy
* Establish a pipeline of emerging talent
* Manage External provider relationships
* Manage the compliance and legal elements of the Apprentice Levy
* Design and execute the apprenticeship on-boarding programme
Key Results and Accountabilities
* Good communication skills : both written and verbal
* Able to build positive productive working relationships with stakeholders
* Able to work effectively as part of a team
* Systematic, organised approach
* Able to manage time and priorities effectively
* Positive, can do and pro-active attitude is essential
Specific Tasks
* Design and deliver assessment centres for the recruitment of apprentices and trainees.
* Design the structure and deliver formatted plans for United Living?s apprentice pathways
* Act as the main account holder for the Digital Account monitoring and reporting financial data
* Strategic management of the Registered Training Provider relationships
* Implement and monitor a mentoring programme to support the Apprentice Programme.
* Create and own the stakeholder communication strategy and plan to ensure all those involved in the successful delivery of the Apprenticeship programme are fully informed and supportive of the programme?s main aims and objectives.
* Provide line management support to the individual apprenticeship programme managers
* Educate managers and mentors on their role in supporting and developing apprentices as an essential part of their jobs
* Build effective relationships with all stakeholders both internal and external to aid the programme?s on-going development, presence and credibility
Person Specification
* Previous demonstrable experience in delivering apprenticeship programmes from a strategic and tactical level
* Ability to manage relationships with key stakeholders
* Experience of recruitment practiced and policies
* Experience of working with Graduates and managing expectations
* Management of Budgets
* Strong influencing skills
* Clean driving licence
Skills & Qualifications:
* Driving License
* Excel : Intermediate/Advanced
* Desirable
* Degree level
* CIPD : L&D
