Domestic Cleaner
Ashford, Kent
20 hours per week – 25 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays)
The Caldecott Foundation cares for children who have significant social, emotional and behavioural difficulties, due to suffering severe neglect and trauma in the early stages of life.
Providing residential care for up to fifty children and young people aged 5 to 18 in comfortable homes with an assessment centre, on-site school, vocational learning centre and therapy service we pride ourselves in providing our children and young people with exciting opportunities and an outstanding environment to live in.
The Caldecott Foundation is currently seeking to recruit an experienced Domestic Cleaner to become a part of our growing organisation to assist in the cleaning of all designated areas using appropriate cleaning materials and equipment, to prepare basic meals & refreshments for Children/young people and visitors as and when required and to safely store all cleaning equipment in the designated area.
The ideal candidate will have completed or be capable of completing all mandatory training, including Basic Food Hygiene, COSSH and Health & Safety and will be self-reliant, friendly and helpful.
From the outset we actively encourage career progression to enable staff to reach their full potential. We can offer a range of routes to progress your career including Residential care, management and leadership, social work, education and therapy roles.
Closing Date - Monday 6th November 2017
Shortlisted candidates will be asked to attend interview – Friday 10th November 2017
