Our client, a leading manufacturing company, based in Kings Hill, West Malling are looking to recruit an Internal Engineering Support Person.

In this varied role, you will report to the UK Managing Director and will be responsible for providing technical support externally to customers and internally to office and sales staff, assist with CAD design drawings, H&S risk assessments/method statements, producing proposals / quotations, as well as some project management.

You will liaise with prospective customers to determine the need within their business for the products that my client manufactures, accurately pricing up for quotations and then providing an exceptional level of customer service. You will be dealing with any queries and gaps in technical information on the orders that come in and must therefore have a strong commercial awareness. The ideal candidate:

* An engineering background (ideally working with Gas) who has experience of project management and has the desire to work in a customer facing position.
* A relevant technical qualification would be advantageous
* Have an abundance of experience in a relevant position, including pricing up jobs for quotations, providing technical assistance and providing commercial support.
* Have excellent communication skills and be able to 'hit the ground running'
