We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Commercial Property team as a Secretary. You will have recently completed your CILEx secretarial course (or similar) and/or perhaps have some experience in the work place.
This role requires you to provide full secretarial and administration support to allocated Fee Earners within the team. The successful candidate will efficiently use the case management system (OMS) as part of their daily work to ensure the delivery of excellent client service and consistent contribution to the profitability of the Team.
The responsibilities of this role include:-
• Preparing correspondence and other written communications, word processing and typing from manuscript or digital dictation
• Ensuring all files are kept up-to-date and that filing is done regularly
• Undertaking file opening and closing activities
• Ensuring regular archiving of files
• Liaising with clients in person, by telephone and e-mail including taking messages
• Arranging appointments and booking rooms for meetings
• Attending team, partnership and training meetings as required
• Assisting with holiday cover both within the team and, if necessary, to other teams and departments
• Assisting and supporting all members of the team
• Undertaking any other reasonable tasks, duties or requests as and when required by the team or the wider partnership
What we are looking for:
• An enthusiastic individual with CILEx Level 3 legal secretarial certificate (minimum)
• Good all round education with a minimum of 5 GCSE A*-C (including English and Maths)
• Good Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Someone who can demonstrate they are a team player who is willing to be flexible to meet the needs of this highly successful team.
• Familiar with transcription via digital dictation
• An appreciation of the need for discretion and confidentiality
• Attention to accuracy and detail
• Excellent communication skills
