Project Accountant job 9 month FTC paying £30k-£35k start ASAP. Must be ACCA/CIMA/ACA part-qualified
Your new company
You will be working for an established and growing organisation within the Kings Hill area of Kent. As part of the large finance function this Project Accountant job will focus on delivering on several key finance projects and keep the finance team and key stakeholders up to date. This job is a Fixed Term Contract for 9 months and requires someone to start ASAP. Although based in the Kings Hill area there will be lots of travel involved with this position.
Your new role
As Project Accountant you will be providing project guidance for key strategic projects within the organisation this will include looking at finance processes and the effective accounting treatment and impact. You will own financial administration of transactional transformation activities. You will be leading in project activity which includes planning and coordination. You will ensure SOX compliance is administered across finance departments during project scoping and project delivery.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be either ACCA/CIMA/ACA Part-Qualified and have experience within management accounting or more importantly project accounting. You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to present information to stakeholders. You will have excellent analytical and Excel skills. Experience in change projects, Sun systems and SOX would be an advantage. You must be prepared to travel with this role.
