Our Client based in Maidstone in beautiful offices with free parking, is looking to recruit an experienced Sales Account Manager to generate new business and account manage existing clients. Not necessarily someone from a Telecoms background, although it would be an advantage, someone with a minimum of 2 years in a similar Field-Based role, with a proven track record of closing business face to face.

You will need to manage your client’s accounts in a professional consultative manner, be approachable, presentable and organised. It is essential you listen to client’s needs and answer questions in an informative manner, by giving honest and accurate support, to provide solutions to enable your customers business to grow.

Customer service is paramount to this role and is exceptionally important to the image of the company. Rather than selling what you think a customer should have, you need to be able to listen to the customer’s wants. Our client does not advocate hard sales!

Essential Skills – Know your Business
Gamma – who they are, learn Gamma Knowledge Base and be confident in products available
BT Openreach and BT Wholesale
Analogue Line - how it is ordered and installed
Broadband – how it is ordered and installed
Horizon – how the portal works and to demonstrate in a clear informative manner to clients

As an Account Manager you must be able to explain the following:
Hosted Telephony
VOIP Systems
Inbound and outbound numbers
Cisco, Polycom and Yealink Telephone systems
How the installation works
Basic Telephone System Functionality
How to raise a Task with Provisioning and who it needs to go to
Understand everyone’s job in the provisioning team
Basic understanding of Synergy (with on-going training provided)

During initial start-up with the Company, essential training and support will be provided.
