Accounts Assistant job in Mid-Kent £18k - £22k DOE. Experience in high volume transactions & good Excel
Your new company
You will be working for a growing Financial Services business in the Mid-Kent area. This companies Accounts Assistant job requires someone with experience in dealing with a high volume of incoming transactions with a high level of accuracy. You will work in the companies modern offices with access via public transport routes and driving.
Your new role
As accounts assistant your main job purpose will be to ensure all payments received are processed onto the system accurately and reconciled. You will ensure all collections (cheques, postal orders, card payments, direct debits, bank payments) are reconciled using advanced Excel skills and processed. You will accurately process payment files and ensure all funds are applied to the correct customer accounts in accordance to FCA standards. You will ensure queries are dealt within 24 hours, produce weekly/monthly Excel reports for business analysis and process, investigate and process unidentified income. You will be responsible for the statement reconciliations, invoice approval and process a high volume of customer refunds.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need experience in an accounts assistant or finance officer position dealing with high volume of transactions with great accuracy. You will have excellent Excel skills including pivot tables and vlookups, there will be an excel test as part of the process.
