Profile:



An experienced Webcast Producer you will have experience using webcast/video based software applications to support live and on demand webcast production. You will be able to multi-task and have a methodical and structured approach to the varied workload and requests. Your extensive knowledge of streaming media technologies and other relevant technologies will support you and the team in providing a first-class service to our corporate clients.



Main Purpose of Position



You will be responsible for supporting the Media Production & Webcasting Service in developing and driving the firm?s streaming strategy. Additionally, you will provide back-up support to the webcast team as an operator, supporting webcast events and tasks required by the client and/or the department as and when required. You are responsible for supporting, sustaining, and maintaining the webcast product ensuring sufficient workflows are in place. You will offer technical expertise and support where necessary in digital media, conversions and compressions, editing software, and server infrastructures.





Key Responsibilities and Duties



* Maintenance, troubleshooting and engineering for Webcast production hardware and software.

* Provide technical support for aspects of live and on demand webcasting and video production services.

* Works with clients to troubleshoot issues, test services, and manage expectations.

* Encode video and audio content.

* Media and web content integration (packaging).

* Periodic requirements to work at weekends for power down / power up situations



What Experience, Skills and Attributes you will need to be successful?



* Methodical, structured and self-motivated with excellent organisational and communication skills. The ability to work under pressure is essential.

* Degree or equivalent experience in film, video or related field is desirable.

* Must be able to prioritise and have the ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.

* Strong customer-focus and understanding the sensitivities of working with clients.

* Able to work as part of a team and multiple tasks simultaneously.

* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

* Knowledge of Windows Media, Apple QuickTime and Flash encoding formats.

* Experience of using Content Management Systems or other relevant Webcast/Video based software applications.

* Extensive knowledge in Microsoft Windows Media, Apple QuickTime and Flash video technologies.

* Proven experience within the corporate streaming field.

* Application knowledge of HTML, Adobe Creative Cloud, Sound Track Pro and Digital Video Conversion.

* Experience of the latest digital media, compression and transmission technologies

* Extensive knowledge of streaming media technologies, CODECs, servers and multicast technologies. Knowledge of video compression technologies also essential.
