Our client is currently searching for an experienced Quality & Compliance Manager based in Medway.

If you have been responsible for the design and implementation of quality systems including the writing of policies and procedures along with knowledge and experience of auditing against related standards and legislation within a secure environment then we’d like to speak to you about a possible opportunity.

We’re looking for a candidate with experience of a similar role and is already a qualified lead auditor of 9001;2015 or 2008 and has a working knowledge and has audited to security related British standards such as 7499, 7960, and 7858.
Knowledge of, and involvement with an SIA Approved Contractor Scheme, and an understanding of additional quality management systems such as 18001 and 14001, along with a current Health and Safety qualification at Level 3 or above are also essential.

The role will be responsible for:

- Ensuring compliance to security standards and legislation through an internal audit process and conducting investigations into breaches of policy, procedure, and dishonesty;
- Creating a continuous improvement culture that identifies and develops value-added ideas by sharing and implementing ‘Best Practice’ and challenging/improving Company processes within the business;
- Ensuring maintenance of the Company’s quality management documentation through a PDCA approach and implement new and amended policies and processes;
- Focusing on clearing blockages which prevent KPIs being achieved while ensuring the quality remains high;
- Completing the audit plan and identify business improvement opportunities;
- Ensuring, following Internal and External Audits that any statutory or company compliance issues are resolved and actions are taken to prevent re-occurrence;
- Maintaining and building relationships with industry regulators and awarding bodies such as the SIA and NSI by attending forums and facilitating external audits;
- Supporting risk management through implementation, maintaining and testing Business Continuity Plans;
- When appropriate assist Sales on PQQs, tenders, and re-tenders to ensure compliance for new work.
