Simply Education are working with a beautiful school based in Ashford. The school has both Primary and Secondary aged children on the same grounds.

This Ashford School is the counties specialist provision for high functioning pupils aged 4 -16 with Autistic Spectrum Disorder and/or Speech and Language disorders. All pupils have a Statement of Special Educational Needs or EHCP and there is an expectation that they will achieve a full range of GCSEs at age 16.

This is a highly successful special school and the employees are the reason for that success. The school seeks to appoint highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to the staff who will continue the excellent support for the pupils that parents and carers have come to expect over the years. Ofsted rated Outstanding Residential Service

The school is for children with a range of special educational needs and they are looking for qualified learning support mentors to help them on a day to day basis.

The ideal learning mentor will have a range of SEN experience and will be confident with dealing with children with a wide range of needs.

The school need help on both a day to day basis along with longer term work.

To be a successful candidate you will need to;
-Be a Qualified Teacher holding QTS with a PGCE, GTP or Bachelor of education.
-Have knowledge of the EYFS, KS1 or KS2 Curriculum
-Have excellent team working skills
-Have strong classroom management skills
-Be able to communicate confidently with pupils and parents alike

All candidates who register with Simply Education will be required to have an enhanced DBS which is on the update service. All candidates are required to complete a Safeguarding course, or provide a certificate dated within the last three years. All offers are conditional upon satisfactory background checks.
