Our client, a web development agency based in Ashford, is looking to recruit a graduate trainee Project Manager to assist in their rapid growth. Successful candidates will have a keen interest in the digital and technology arenas and will be looking to kick start their career in project management.

The role will be reporting directly to a Director therefore you will be exposed to the whole business. We are looking for someone that will, after training, work on their own steam to help deliver projects.

This is a training role and they will be investing heavily into you with various professional qualifications and some short ‘placements’ into either clients or partners to understand practical project management. Therefore we are looking for candidates who are looking to make a long term commitment to their company, vision and your vocation as project managers.

Required

A 2:1 degree or better in a relevant field: Business Studies, Business Management, Information Technology, Digital, Psychology
A polite, patient, attentive manner when dealing with stakeholders (the client's customers, their customers, the developers and directors)
The ability to influence and negotiate with customers
A good understanding of modern office productivity tools
The ability to rapidly digest information on new projects, customers, processes and tools
Some experience of managing projects in your education or career history

Beneficial but NOT essential
Any project management certifications (Prince2, CSM, Agile)
Any experience of Agile Software Development
Any experience of the Jira project management tool
Any experience of digital technologies (web development, design, native app development, ecommerce and their respective technologies)
