Our client, an international company specialising in the manufacturing of paper packaging and bags is looking to recruit a temporary to permanent Warehouse Administrator for their busy site on the outskirts of Maidstone.

The standard hours of work will be 7:00am to 3:45pm Monday to Thursday, with a 2:30pm finish every Friday.

The starting hourly pay rate will be £8.50 with the possibility of a permanent contract after a 12 week training period.

The job specification
• To accurately process all stock data for receipts and despatches in a timely manner.
• To assist the Warehouse Manager in improving the efficiency of the warehouse.
• To maintain and develop the department’s performance, picking efficiency and accuracy.
• To enhance safety in the department.
• To move products in and out of the warehouse as appropriate.
• To manage the logistical side of the operation.
• To pick and pack goods for customer orders.
• To work efficiently and effectively as part of a team.
• To load and unload pallets and vehicles.
• To use equipment for which you are trained.
• To ensure products loaded are safe for transit.
• To assist with deliveries when possible
• To keep work area tidy
• To maintain high levels of Health and Safety standards
• To communicate effectively with Managers and Colleagues

The person specification
• Strong administrative knowledge preferably within a warehouse of manufacturing environment
• Good IT skills including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Accurate data entry skills
• Good attention detail and analytical skills
• Applicants will have ideally worked in a manufacturing or warehouse environment

The client site is based on an excellent public transport route and there is onsite parking for staff.
