The D2 brand has been established for 10years based from an office in Chatham Kent. D2 Fire and Security are a young, progressive company which forms part of the overall D2 brand which include three separate companies. Our work activities take place mainly in London and Kent and we are looking for talented security installation/commissioning engineer to join our team.

We specialise in the installation and maintenance of Commercial Intruder alarm, access control, door entry, CCTV, Fire Alarms and IP systems.

We are looking to grow the business and seek a Security Installation/Commissioning Engineer looking to further their careers in the security industry.

About the Role

We have a Security Installation/Commissioning Engineer position available and would like to cover the following key duties: -

• Installation, commissioning and maintenance of audio and video door entry systems.
• Installation, commissioning and maintenance of access control systems.
• Installation, commissioning and maintenance of CCTV systems.
• Installation, commissioning and maintenance of Intruder alarm systems

Working hours are usually 8:30am-4:30pm, with overtime available. Most work activities are carried out in Kent and London. A degree of flexibility is required to cover call outs and to ensure works are completed within project time frames.

About You

The ideal Security Installation/Commissioning Engineer will be hardworking, driven and self-motivated. They must be able to work as part of a team and also alone, being able to use their own initiative. Experience in all of the above fields is preference and knowledge of Fire Detection installation is ideal however not necessary.

The ideal Security Installation/Commissioning Engineer must have a driving licence and will be required to pass police checks of security accreditations.
