We are currently recruiting for an established manufacturing company in Ashford (non-food) and employer of choice for a Production Labeller, working on the afternoon shift pattern, ie. 2pm – 10pm, Monday to Friday only!

Main Purpose of the role and skills we are seeking:
The main purpose of the role is to assist with the efficient operation of the labelling requirements specifically within carton and packaging operations, all within a manufacturing/ production/dispatch environment.

You will assist with meeting the production schedule and production targets for customer satisfaction, quality and cost and must be a team player.

Previous experience gained within a production or warehouse type of environment is required, as would any experience gained with labelling or any other packaging equipment, but the ability to work within a fast paced factory environment, where attention to detail is essential.

In addition, the Production Labeller will:
Ensure that GMP (good manufacturing practices) are maintained in the Packaging area.
Ensure the Packaging areas are kept clean, safe and tidy.
Ensure that all packaging and labelling functions are performed efficiently.
Liaise with the Production Team Leader and Production Team Manager.
Have a basic understanding of Health & Safety within a manufacturing environment.
