This position is Full Time Term Time plus 15 days during the school holidays (or relevant hours)
The FPTA Academies Trust is a multi-academy trust based in Medway, which presently consists of three secondary schools and two junior schools and is currently recruiting for an Executive Finance and Business Manager to support the Finance and HR function within the Trust.
We are a growing, multi-academy trust within the educational charity sector with approximately 450 employees across the five sites.
We are looking for a proactive, individual to support the strategic development of each school within the Academy Trust with at least 3 years’ experience of working in Finance Management in an Educational environment and working towards a Professional level accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA).
To provide high quality strategic financial planning, monitor efficient management of the academies’ budget, along with maintaining an overview of personnel, premises, ICT and health and safety matters. Will be responsible for maximising income generation by letting the premises to external users and supporting development of grant applications to support the school.
They must be IT literate with a good level spreadsheets packages, MS Office skills (Excel and Word are essential). They should pay strong attention to detail, and pride themselves on their organisational skills. A good candidate will also possess strong communication skills along with a good level customer service.
