Passionate about social housing? We have an exciting opportunity to train as a Surveyor in Major Repairs with one of the best housing associations in Kent.
We're investing in our staff for the future. This is a 4 year training programme to become a Surveyor in Major Repairs. Working closely with the Manager, you'll ensure major repairs are planned effectively and efficiently.
Other tasks include:
•Conducting surveys and inspections
•Diagnosing defects and finding solutions
•Assessing construction works for value for money and quality
•Advising residents and making sure we deliver excellent customer service
•Contract admin
•Dealing with complaints
You must have:
•Knowledge of surveying techniques, contractor administration and building defects
•HND/HNC degree or equivalent in a construction related discipline
•A full, clean driving licence
•Flexibility to occasionally work outside office hours, to attend meetings with customers
•The ability to study whilst working full time in a busy team
