Job Advert - IT Sales Account Manager
Based in Orpington, Kent The Service Desk Institute (SDI) is member driven organisation that offers a range of IT Service Desk consultancy Services that also include training, conferences and events.
Over the last 30 years SDI have built strong relationships with it’s partners which consist of the UKs most recognisable IT Service Management/Desk Software Houses & Specialists who continually support our events and conferences in the form of sponsorship. As Account Manager you will be responsible for ensuring these strong relationships flourish and continue to grow.
You will play an important role in the development of strategic relationships, sales, planning, development and management of the relationships between SDI and the vendor customer base. You will engage in a variety of tasks including the creation and development of innovative sales opportunities, the delivery of high quality and in-depth sales proposals, business relationship development and the negotiation and influencing of customers regarding SDI’s products and services.
The Vendor Account Manager must be able to demonstrate to following:
• Previous Sales or Account Management experience.
• IT Service Desk / Management experience desirable.
• Experience of building sales & revenue by building strong & loyal relationships.
• Excellent Communication skills
• Must believe in providing a great customer experience.
• Excellent Customer Relationship Management Skills with a natural desire to want to do well.
You will be expected to deliver against SDI’s Employee Value Proposition (EVP):
